I one version, she throws him against a wall and that breaks the curse. In some versions, she does worse things to him because she couldn't stand him. They were soon after married and lived happily ever after. He explained that a witch cursed him to be a frog until a princess shared her food and bed with him for three days and three nights. Then, on the fourth day, she woke up to see the frog was gone and in his place was a prince. This same pattern continued for three days and three nights, allowing him to eat off her plate and sleep in her bed. (And I ask again, how big was this damn frog to even make this racket? I guess, much like with horror movies, I shouldn't question how illogical it is. She threw him in her closet so she didn't have to look at him but he cried so loudly that so let him out for fear that her parents would hear him and punish her. Later that night, she headed to bed with the frog. She let the frog in and allowed him to eat from her plate. He forced the little princess to keep her promise though she begged him otherwise. Her father told her, "If you have made a promise, you must keep it!" The little princess told her parents the story of the frog and how she promised to let him eat from her plate and sleep in her bed. The parents asked whatever could be making that noise. (Honestly, I never understood this part cuz how big was this frog to be making all this racket? Like really?) But that night, when she and her parents were dining, she heard a weird noise outside, like someone hopping up the steps on one leg. The rest of the day passed and she thought she was rid of him for good. The frog retrieved it but as soon as she had it, the little princess ran away from him, back to the palace. The little princess didn't want the slimy creature near her but agreed since she despaired of ever getting her ball back. Finally, the little frog told her that he could retrieve it if she promised that he could eat from her plate and sleep beside her on her bed at night. He asked her why she was crying and the little princess told him about her golden ball. Her cries were heard and a little frog suddenly appeared beside her. Upset, the little princess sat down and began to cry. Well one day, she accidentally threw her ball too far and it ended up in the water. She was young (I'm not sure how young exactly) and always loved to play with this little ball beside a pond. Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess with golden hair.
